Solang Valley is popular tourist destination situated 14 km from Manali, well known sill station in Himachal Pradesh in north India. There are “traditional” ones as camping and trekking or adventurous one as zorbing, horse riding or paragliding available. Those who love to be close to the nature may decide to stay in tents. Diverse hiking and trekking trails are available within Solang Valley and nearby areas. They will lead you through pristine nature of Himachal Pradesh presenting greenery, waterfalls and amazing scenery. You can hike yourself, there are maps available, or you can as well hire professional guide to go with you. Try to get from Solang to charming Beas Kund, nice lake not far from there, or Kothi, where Beas River does wonderful flow over steep gorge.
Adventurers may try zorbing, paragliding, quad ride, mountain biking or horse riding. There is also Solang Ropeway, built just recently to help you get to the mountain and show you panoramas from different point of view. There are cabins with capacity of 8 people each operating in winter and summer.
